  Wayne 
has been a partner of SCP Partners since its inception and has been involved 
with private equity and venture capital investing since 1987. He joined 
Churchill Investment Partners, Inc. as a managing director in 1990 and became 
Vice President and a member of the board of directors of CIP Capital L.P., an 
SBIC, at the time of its founding in 1990.  Wayne is co-founder and managing 
director of SCP Vitalife Partners, an Israel/U.S. venture fund focused on 
medical technology. 
 Wayne is a director or chairman of several companies, including Grab Networks, 
Echo 360, Gigared, Deep Breeze, Trig Medical, Recro Pharma, Garnet 
Biotherapeutics, Endospan, and Argo Medical Technologies.
 
 He also serves on the investment committee of Vitalife Life Sciences Fund.
 
 From 1992 to 1994, Wayne served as Executive Vice President of Affinity Biotech, 
Inc., a drug delivery company, where he was responsible for strategic alliances, 
financial strategy, and mergers and acquisitions. He also oversaw its IPO and 
merger into the company that subsequently became IBAH, Inc., a leading contract 
research organization. From 1987 to 1990, Wayne operated a management and 
financial advisory firm.
 
 Wayne began his career at the Philadelphia law firm of Saul, Ewing, Remick & 
Saul.
 
 Wayne received his B.A. cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania and his 
J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School.  He is a board member of the 
Young Scholars Charter School and the American-Israel Chamber of Commerce.
